Research Institute of Microbiology, Hebei Academy of Sciences is a synthetical research development organization concerning scientific research, manufacture and popularizing. Research Institute of Microbiology was established in 1972, which has three joint-share limited co***nies. Its fixed capital value is up to RMB 25million and it has an office building covered 5,000 square meter, one modern library and five producing lines. It has 105 workers including 74 scientific technicians and 44 persons have got the senior and junior academic and technical titles. Research Institute of Microbiology is conferred ¡° the main popularizing plan of State Scientific-Technical Achievement---Biofertilizer Research Center¡± by the Ministry of Science and Technology of P. R. China.
Research Institute of Microbiology is the advanced lead in the microbiological fertilizer field. The scientific technicians in the Institute developed the associated nitrogen fixing inoculum of wheat and maize, biological potassium fertilizer, biological phosphorus fertilizer and biological pesticide etc. It has made great contribution to the development of national green, sustained agriculture.
The application research of the associated nitrogen fixing inoculum of wheat is the scientific task issued by the Department of Science and Technology of Hebei Province in 1979. This technology has been checked and accepted by the soil fertilizer and microbiological technicians at home and abroad and has been regarded as the advanced level at home. Research Institute of Microbiology first applied Klebsiela pneumoniae for the industrial manufacture and developed the associated nitrogen fixing inoculum of wheat which can fix nitrogen in air and improve the output of wheat. The application of this technology made farmers reduce the input of nitrogen fertilizer and improve the output and created the great economic benefits.
